What's new in LitPost

Every new feature I've shipped in LitPost, newest first, each dated the day it went live on litpost.app. Fixes and small tweaks aren't listed.

November 2026

  1. A free LinkedIn post formatter

Bold, italic and lists that paste straight into LinkedIn, a 3,000-character counter, and a preview of where "…more" cuts your post on desktop and mobile. No account, and your text never leaves your browser.

    Try the formatter
  2. Guide: 30 LinkedIn post ideas hiding in your week

Six places to look in your own week for something worth posting, five ideas each, and a 10-minute Friday routine so you never run out.

    Read the guide
  3. Release posts that name your product

When a starting point comes from a release, it now reads like a launch post: one line naming your product, then one short line for each thing people can now use. Each GitHub repo counts as one product, and you can change the name it goes by where you pick your repos. Lines start with an emoji only if your past posts use them.

October 2026

  1. A new first run

Signing up now starts with connecting your sources. You see what LitPost found in them before any AI runs, then land on Home with ideas already waiting. The Brand Copilot interview opens once: until you've done it you get ideas worth a post, after it you get full drafts in your voice.

  2. GitHub reads a year of your work

Connecting GitHub now pulls the last 12 months of commits, pull requests and releases, and shows what it found in each repo. A quiet month no longer means an empty Home: the biggest things you shipped this year fill the gap, and drafts never call them recent.

  3. One story per change, not one post per commit

LitPost now groups related commits and pull requests into the story of a single change. Only a real release, something people can now use, becomes a starting point, and only for 30 days. Refactors, fixes and internal plumbing stay out.

August 2026

  1. PDF carousels on LinkedIn

Upload a PDF in the composer and it's published to LinkedIn as a carousel people swipe through.

July 2026

  1. Unschedule a post

Move a scheduled post back to your drafts, and click any post in the calendar to open it.

May 2026

  1. Content pillars from your interview

At the end of the Brand Copilot interview, it proposes 3 to 5 content pillars, the topics you want to be known for. Confirm them, then edit or add more in Settings.

  2. Pick which GitHub repos LitPost reads

GitHub now connects through the LitPost GitHub App, so you choose exactly which repos LitPost can read.

  3. Starting points from what you actually did

Connect GitHub, Plausible, Stripe or your past posts, and Home keeps a few starting points waiting for you. Each one is built on something that really happened, and shows the event it came from.

April 2026

  1. Founder DNA

A short conversation builds your Founder DNA: your tone, your values and what you know best. LitPost uses it to shape what it suggests, so ideas start out sounding like you.

  2. Write in your language, publish in theirs

Draft in the language you think in, and LitPost translates the post before it goes out, X threads included.

March 2026

  1. The first version

Connect X and LinkedIn, write once and publish to both, or schedule posts from a calendar. Long posts split into X threads, AI Check flags vague claims and filler before you publish, and a voice profile keeps suggestions in your tone.

Your week has posts in it too.

LitPost finds them in what you actually did. You make them yours.
